Craft Makin Junkie, LLC

I am Sherry Norman, and I own Craft Makin Junkie, LLC. I’m a Latina wife, mother, aunt, sister, grandmother, and member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles Auxiliary, whose motto is “People helping people.” I grew up on the south side of Chicago, moved to the suburbs, and eventually settled in Allegan, Michigan, with my husband, where we’ve made our home for several years.  

I’m also a recently retired long-term care nurse who enjoys creating beautiful, functional, and unique personalized items that may bring others smiles and enjoyment.  Not to mention the pleasure I receive in fulfilling the creative process. As a nurse, I loved watching my patients' faces light up when they received a gift from a friend or family member that was made especially with them in mind.

Since I’ve been crafting for several years, I realized that this had become my passion and decided to pursue it full-time. I enjoy the thought that I may, even for a moment, have a hand in assisting customers in finding that perfect gift for that special someone, especially when I see the smiles on their faces as they see the finished product.

Following the Eagles’ motto, I also sought to incorporate their philosophy into my new crafting journey - helping brighten the day for another person or themselves by creating individualized hand-crafted items and gifts and making them available to people.
